The garment you are wearing is certified as Category I PPE, so it is designed in accordance with European regulations. It is manufactured at our production sites in Bangladesh and Pakistan, sites that have achieved Sedex certification, SMETA 4. This certification is awarded by Sedex, which is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping companies improve the way they do business through the application of responsible and ethical practices in global supply chains.
SMETA’s 4-Pillars certification offers the wearer of Horizon workwear the assurance that they are relying on an ethical, faithful and sustainable production system. The certification monitors that labor rights, health and safety, environmental practices and business ethics are respected:
ETHICS of work: working hours, wages, discrimination, child labor, and forced labor
